The Process
Clare is based in Shropshire, UK and is available to undertake pet portrait drawing commissions in the following locations:
Cheshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Wales
Clare generally works from her own reference photographs so will arrange to meet you with your pet to take photographs and observe your pet from life in order to fully represent both their physical appearance and characteristics in her drawing. Clare can visit your home or a suitable venue within travelling distance and is happy to photograph your pet outdoors. If you do however have a particular photograph that you would like Clare to consider working from please send it by email so that she can advise you if it is suitable.
Following your initial enquiry you will be advised with a timescale and provided with a no-obligation quotation for your consideration. Once you are happy to proceed a deposit of 50% of the commission cost is required prior to arranging a visit.
Upon completion of your commission a photograph will be emailed to you for approval following which payment of the remaining 50% of the commission cost together with any other agreed expenses will be required prior to shipping or collection.
UK shipping with Royal Mail is free of charge for commissions and your finished artwork will be placed in a temporary clip frame and packaged robustly for optimum protection during transit. Alternatively collection in person can be arranged by appointment.

The following prices are an overview of popular sizes for a head/neck portrait in charcoal of one pet with a simple background and unframed:

A fully tailored quotation can also be provided to include multiple subjects or a full body portrait.
If you would like to gift a commission, gift vouchers are available to purchase for the value of a commission and will be sent to you specially gift wrapped for presentation to the recipient.
